I'm originally from Venezuela and grew up in a Virginia suburb outside of Washington, D.C.. My background in journalism lead me to constantly examine the role of narrative in visual communication. I'm fascinated by how ideas can be best organized for highest impact.

 

As a creative strategist and graphic designer, I strive to utilize the power of the visual language to share information, connect humans, and drive action.

Shaped and implemented institutional rebrand across social, print, and web for the national office and 54 state affiliate offices. Co-created narrative framework to guide strategic and holistic delivery of digital assets across channels with user experience in mind, implemented organization wide. Created promotional materials: ACLU-branded merchandise and digital and print ads, with placement in Times Square, The New York Times, The Nation, Mother Jones and others. Systemized department-wide team workflows connecting collaborative digital tools.​

Aug 2014 - June 2016

Ran social initiatives and print campaigns, designing posters, flyers, postcards, web materials, and social assets for annual events serving 50,000 students. 

Jan 2016 - May 2016

Created print and web assets for current and future programming. Responsible for brand cohesion across consumer touch points. Worked alongside consumer and trade representatives on long and short term projects.

June 2015 - Aug 2015

Worked alongside CEO on client projects. Tasks ranged from full design mockups, copywriting, client research and project management.

Sept 2014 - Dec 2014

Designed and wrote copy for in-store marketing collateral displayed nationwide. Assisted in creation of fall visual manual.

Jan 2014 - June 2014

Created all communication/marketing material for print and web. Developed and designed infographics and company pamphlets for immediate use.
